Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My child played around inside a playpen, while I worked 12-hour days in sanding floors as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! We were getting close to being done, yet the project was still a distance away. In order to furnish the house, it was going to take a lot of effort with regards to budget and time. Also, I had to do my favourite shopping. My sons, my husband and I looked for treasures hidden at estate sales to keep my spending under control. It was our weekly routine to visit garage sales and auctions on Sundays and Saturdays as well as purchase various of pieces old and newly constructed. I'd spend my workdays at the end of the driveway, painting or sanding. What I saw looked something similar to... this is when my passion to restore furniture began. No matter what, the home was decorated. Markets in town had room to let me sell my pieces. I could outgrow the market because I had plenty of pieces that I could use. In my own home, I would host open houses in which more than 1000 guests could visit and buy any item they wanted from the first floor in just one weekend. Growing Days is the result from this. While my company grew as did our family. Finding the balance was important to me. I wanted to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days seemed like the best match. Nora joined us in 2013 as our 4th baby. The direction my company was heading was great, but I was forced to take some time off. I took a pause from creating vintage furniture and also slowed my pace to be at home to raise the children. The time was right. After a few months when the phones began to call. I began receiving requests from people requesting for assistance with home improvements and interior design. These were mostly customers who visited my home to purchase furniture. After a while I started taking on clients at my pace. Before long I had multiple accounts, as well as a house renovations business. When you first told me about my business in home renovation I was astonished. In fact, I laugh slightly when I recall it.
