Emily VanCamp
Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her roles as a lead actress in countless television series, but also her impressive performances on film. She has a large following in American as well as Canadian television. Emily was interested in performing arts when she was in her 12th grade. She visited her older sister Katie in the film studio. After realizing her passion in acting, she began taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. Her first audition was for commercials however, she was eventually the role of a child actor on the Canadian television horror show Are You afraid of the dark? which featured her only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. At the age of 15, Emily got her big breakthrough when she became regular on the WB television series Glory Days. The show ended up being cancelled after nine episodes Emily's performance was noticed by Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who decided to cast her in his television show Everwood. Emily was a professional ballet dancer who was also a photographer. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. She was ranked number 51 in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
